Tarot by Comparison™ – Judgment Tarot Card Meaning
Let’s continue the Tarot by Comparison™ with the Judgment tarot card meaning, where we learn to read tarot by comparing cards from different decks.
This is the 21st post in this series. You can start at the beginning with The Fool or go to the previous post The Sun.

For this comparison, I have used these decks: Everyday Witch Tarot, Happy Tarot, Crystal Visions Tarot, and Golden Girls Tarot.
The Judgment Tarot Card is all about, well, judgment.
The Judgment card appears in our readings when it’s time for a spiritual awakening… or maybe when a day of reckoning is coming.
This card also represents following your instincts and your own path, rebirth, and absolution.
But how do we get this definition from these images?
In Happy Tarot you see an angelic figure sitting in the clouds blowing a trumpet while naked people below reach towards the heavens, appearing to be reborn or maybe waiting for their reckoning.
You see the same theme with the Golden Girls Tarot, except it’s Sophia that is in the clouds. If you’ve ever seen that show you know she was the wise one who definitely made some judgments.
In Crystal Visions Tarot we see a woman standing in a field of calla lilies, which represent resurrection and rebirth.
In Everyday Witch Tarot you see a witch blowing her trumpet and following her own music down the dirt path, as if she is listening only to herself and following her instincts.
